Airtight: that’s the best way to describe the new air distributor Geldof has successfully manufactured to replace an aging unit originally built in 2005.

Designed in four sections, this replacement was a true collaborative effort—bringing together expertise in precision manufacturing, specialized coatings, and high-quality assembly.

Built with precision, assembled with expertise:

• The distributor consists of a Ø711.2mm (28″) pipe with a 20mm wall thickness, made from SA-358 Gr.304H CL.1.
• The pipe was carefully formed into shape using induction bending, precision-drilled, welded, and coated with a refractory layer before being securely crated for transport.

Coordinating multiple specialized subcontractors across different phases of production required tight logistics and seamless collaboration. Thanks to the strong partnerships involved, every step—from shaping and machining to final assembly and transport—was executed smoothly, ensuring a high-quality final product.
