Before our CO₂ storage tanks hit the sea, they hit the oven — literally.
Our tanks are being heat-treated at 570°C. The process relaxes internal stresses in the steel. This critical step ensures structural integrity for safe, high-pressure CO₂ transport.

These tanks are part of a pioneering project for INEOS Energy DK Greensand Future DCC. The tanks will be used to transport captured CO₂ for injection into a mature oil field in the North Sea — helping to reduce emissions and support the shift toward a low-carbon future.
