Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Bas Debyser, a final-year Wiskunde- Wetenschappen student (Mathematics and Science), as part of YOUCA Action Day. What made the day extra special? Bas is the son of our own colleague Filip, and he spent the day working alongside his dad in the engineering department, diving into a study of flanges.

It’s inspiring to see young talent like Bas getting a taste of the professional world while contributing to important causes. YOUCA Action Day gives students the chance to experience real-world work environments, and we’re proud to play a part in shaping the future—both for our industry and for the next generation.

All earnings from the day go to impactful youth-driven projects in Belgium and abroad. We’re excited to support initiatives that not only foster youth empowerment but also drive global change.
