Hello fellow safety enthusiasts! While World Day for Safety and Health at Work may have come and gone, the spirit of safety lives on strong at Geldof. We didn’t just mark the occasion – we elevated it to new heights with our very own Geldof Safety Day!

This Monday, colleagues had the opportunity to dive into three riveting sessions led by industry experts, each designed to sharpen our safety skills and bolster our commitment to a safer workplace.

From mastering the art of safety harnesses with @Bart Cooman to honing our first aid skills with AED training from @Rode Kruis Vlaanderen, every session was a hands-on opportunity to equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills needed to keep our workplace safe and secure.

But the crown jewel of our Safety Day? The electrifying VR safety training session by @The Hazard Factory! With eager participants from every department immersing themselves in a virtual world of safety challenges, we didn’t just witness innovation – we became a part of it.

And the impact doesn’t end there. The insights gained from our VR training adventure will serve as invaluable resources for our HSE department, guiding future toolboxes and ensuring that safety remains at the forefront of everything we do.
